Technical Details

Coverage is planned from a written shot list agreed beforehand, listing required moments, named people who must appear, sponsor and branding elements that need documented placement, and the wide venue shots used later for promotion. Bodies are operated in pairs so a card or battery failure never ends coverage, and shooting is dual card where the body supports it so an image exists in two places from the moment of capture. Lenses cover a fast standard zoom for general coverage and a fast prime for low light and stage work. Capture is raw for editing latitude. Available light is used where it flatters the room, with bounced flash introduced only where the light will otherwise fail, and shutter speed kept high enough to freeze gesture during speeches. White balance is set from a reference under each distinct lighting condition, since a room lit by mixed sources will not correct globally. Files are backed up to two separate devices before leaving the venue. Delivery is a colour managed edited set in full resolution plus web sized versions, with a documented usage licence.
